On the morning of April 10, 2023, at the headquarters of Van Lang University (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), The University of Law and Van Lang University solemnly held an MoU Signing Ceremony.

On the University of Law side, the meeting included the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh – Rector; Dr. Tran Thu Hanh, Head of the Department of Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mai Van Thang - Head of the Department of Research Management and Partnership Development, and LLM. Vu Thi Bich Huong - Specialist of the Department of Research Management and Partnership Development.

On the Van Lang University side, the meeting included the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Anh Thuy - Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Nguyen Cuu Dinh - Head of the Department of Education and other leaders, lecturers, and students of the University.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - Rector of Van Lang University expressed her pleasure to welcome the representatives of the VNU University of Law to visit and sign the MoU with Van Lang University. With a brief introduction about the history and scale of the University, she affirmed the student-centered, sustainable development strategy and expected the agreements between the two sides to bring practical effects to students and lecturers of the University. "Van Lang University currently has 02 bachelor's degrees in law with a size of 1800 students and one master's program in economic law with a size of 90 students" the Rector added.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from Van Lang University. She said: "The University of Law has carefully considered and highly appreciated the strategy, goals, and development orientation of Van Lang University and firmly believes that the cooperation will help the University of Law to improve the way of governance, expand the network and promote the implementation of the University's goals.".

At the Signing Ceremony, the leaders of the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding and then had a thorough discussion about how to put the agreement into practice. The two universities also exchanged gifts on this day to demonstrate their close partnership.

 

Trao đổi thêm về việc cụ thể hóa các hoạt động hợp tác, PGS cho rằng, trước mắt, sẽ tập trung thực hiện các hội thảo, hội nghị khoa học liên quan trực tiếp đến chương trình xây dựng luật, pháp lệnh của Quốc hội để thực hiện sứ mệnh tiên phong, khai phóng, là trung tâm tư vấn chính sách uy tín hàng đầu của Đảng, Nhà nước và rất mong Trường Đại học Văn Lang phối hợp thực hiện để tăng sự lan tỏa của các hội thảo, hội nghị đó. Tiếp theo, có thể thực hiện được ngay là hoạt động trao đổi sinh viên, công nhận tín chỉ, trao đổi giảng viên của nhau.

Tiếp theo Chương trình của Buổi Lễ, đại diện lãnh đạo hai Trường đã ký Biên bản ghi nhớ hợp tác và sau đó, trao đổi chi tiết về các kế hoạch, chương trình thực hiện.

Nhân dịp này, hai trường đã trao những món quà lưu niệm và khẳng định quyết tâm triển khai hiệu quả Thỏa thuận hợp tác để cho người học, giảng viên được thụ hưởng kết quả của hoạt động hết sức có ý nghĩa này./.
